Texas born, Arkansas raised, and Louisiana alumnus, Lana Gail is a true “Ark-La-Tex-an.” Lana grew up living a rural country life surrounded by open pastures and the sounds of country music. Drawn to trendsetting “Women of Country” (Patsy Cline, Shania Twain and Martina McBride), she began her music career as a youngster performing in church. Lana joined a local country music Jamboree as a teenager; her talents were recognized early on with various awards and titles presented within the vocal performance, acting and pageant arenas. In college, Lana was selected to join the world-renowned Centenary College Choir. As a member, she performed in nine foreign countries including Russia, Norway, Spain and Switzerland. In 2006, Lana was the local winner of the National Colgate Country Showdown competition in Hatfield, Arkansas. The admirable vocalist landed the starring role in “Always…Patsy Cline” (2019) and she was awarded “Best Actress” for her extraordinary performance in the lead role of the theater production “Mary Poppins.”
Today, realizing her lifelong dream and the pursuit of a country recording career, Lana recently celebrated the release of her debut single and original tune, “Cool In My Skin” in April 2020. The track continues to climb the MusicRow Chart.
The mother of six performs alongside her talented, guitarist husband and their band at various fairs and festivals across Arkansas and Texas. Lana is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her debut EP, titled “Pushing Up Daisies”, anticipated in September 2020.
